All the same groups lined up against, now joined by the Renal Physicians Association, the Renal Physician Assistants’ Association, the National Kidney Association, and various veterans groups (older veterans are also commonly affected by kidney disease, and would also be hard-hit). After wasting another $100 million, the proposition was defeated a third time.
